Tesla unveiled an AI accelerator roadmap featuring the training-oriented Dojo D3, which could eventually go to orbital data centers, and the SI6 inference accelerator, while adopting new 'SI' branding in a 'Super Intelligence' push.
Tesla is extending its custom silicon from in-house vehicle compute into its own training and inference hardware, which could create a vertically integrated AI chip supplier alongside Nvidia and custom ASIC vendors.
