Back to school requires balancing assignments, deadlines, and downtime, and GeForce NOW enables users to manage it all by turning everyday laptops used for class into cloud-based gaming setups powered by GeForce RTX technology. Members can instantly switch from studying to playing Halo: Campaign Evolved, which joins the GeForce NOW library alongside eight additional games this week. Rather than replacing backpack laptops, the service unlocks their full potential for both creation and gaming. With a membership, Chromebooks, Macs, and Surface devices function as GeForce RTX-powered PCs in the cloud, allowing users to stream thousands of supported PC games they already own from platforms like Steam, Xbox PC Game Pass, and Epic Games Store with just a few clicks. The cloud infrastructure keeps games automatically updated, eliminating wait times for downloads, patches, and installs so players can jump into matches between classes or after homework. The Ultimate membership delivers best-in-class experiences through 5080-class cloud performance enhanced by NVIDIA DLSS, ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex technologies for responsive, visually rich gameplay on existing hardware. Creator Menguiny demonstrated this versatility after acquiring a MacBook Neo, using GeForce NOW to transform the device from a video editing and work tool into a top-tier gaming machine. Similarly, creator TechWithSeong showcased how the Ultimate tier allows streaming supported PC games across multiple owned devices, from a MacBook used for editing to handheld gaming on the go. New players can start with a day pass to experience premium benefits without a monthly commitment, and the day pass cost can be applied toward a first membership purchase.

Halo: Campaign Evolved serves as a modernized remake of the original campaign, rebuilt with high-definition visuals, updated cinematics, and refined gameplay. Players crash-land on the mysterious ringworld with Cortana to uncover secrets and battle Covenant forces, then continue with three brand-new missions featuring the Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson. Expanded weapons, iconic vehicles, hijackable Wraith tanks, and optional Skull modifiers provide additional ways to play. Whether discovering the series for the first time or returning after twenty-five years, players will hear the Master Chief say, “We’re just getting started.” The Ultimate membership supports cross-device play across PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, handhelds, mobile devices, and TVs, utilizing cloud saves to let members log in and resume exactly where they left off without lengthy downloads, extra storage, or expensive hardware upgrades. This week, members can also stream the newly added titles alongside Halo. Users are encouraged to share their weekend gaming plans on X or in the comments, and to consider which game lore they know well enough to present in a school setting.
