SpaceX guided to $100 billion or more in annualized revenue run rate (ARR) following their Q2 earnings call, surpassing a previous bull case projection of $96 billion ARR. The higher guidance reflects three additional major deals—each comparable in size to Google's commitment, representing $11 billion annually or roughly $1 billion per month of new leasing.

Earlier projections indicated SpaceX would add up to $36 billion per year in new compute leases beyond the existing $5 billion monthly baseline, which would yield approximately $8 billion per month or $96 billion ARR by year-end. The company now expects to exceed this forecast.

SpaceX cited a persistent supply-demand imbalance in the compute market, with current economics delivering payback periods of less than one year on new capital deployments for compute infrastructure. In early Q3 alone, the company contracted an additional $6.7 billion in cloud services revenue across a six-month period beginning in October 2026. AI leasing commitments increased by $1.1 billion per month in Q4 2026 and Q1 2027, with contribution from Cursor included in the trajectory to reach $100 billion ARR by year-end based on expected December revenue.

Earlier projections anticipated two to 2.5 additional Google-sized deals by the close of 2026, supported by deployment of over two gigawatts of data center energy by year-end. SpaceX also outlined plans to extend direct-to-cellphone Starlink coverage through small cell and femtocell mesh networks.
