Western Sydney Data Center and Airport City Project Secures $3.1 Billion Investment

Data centers have become the latest $14 billion attraction in the west, second only to airports. However, residents need additional infrastructure to benefit from these job opportunities.

Bradfield has already opened expressions of interest for its corporate park and is attracting various companies from defense, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors.

When New South Wales Investment and Delivery Board decided to support 15 data center projects worth $52 billion, two-thirds of these proposed digital growth engines are located in western Sydney.

However, the data center boom that underpins Australia's growth rate is merely the latest wave of investment flowing into this vast region. The population of this region accounts for nearly one-third of New South Wales's total population.
