CoreWeave는 에이전트 AI 워크로드를 확장하기 위해 다중 랙 NVIDIA Vera Rubin 클러스터의 배포를 시작했습니다.
CoreWeave (CRWV) is expanding its capabilities for next-generation AI workloads through the deployment of multi-rack NVIDIA (NVDA) Vera Rubin NVL72 clusters on CoreWeave Cloud. The company has also introduced two new features for its AI Object Storage platform: cross-region write acceleration and a lower-cost Archive tier. These enhancements are designed to help customers scale compute-intensive agentic AI workloads while ensuring critical data remains readily accessible to GPUs.
This multi-rack Vera Rubin NVL72 deployment enables hundreds of NVIDIA Rubin GPUs to function as a single scale-out cluster. Each NVL72 rack integrates 72 Rubin GPUs with 36 Vera CPUs, alongside NVIDIA NVLink 6, ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, and BlueField-4 DPUs. CoreWeave links multiple racks via NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking to establish a broader, coordinated computing environment. Through its Mission Control platform, CRWV automates rack deployment and validation, synchronizing hardware, firmware, power, cooling, and workload testing to ensure multi-rack systems operate as a unified platform.
To address data-access bottlenecks, CoreWeave has deployed its Local Object Transport Accelerator, which caches data locally. According to management, this reduces latency by up to 8x compared to traditional storage-cluster reads while delivering up to 7 GB/s of throughput per GPU. The newly introduced cross-region write feature allows customers to store data locally while CoreWeave asynchronously replicates it to another region. Additionally, the new Archive tier offers a cost-effective solution for retaining infrequently accessed datasets, checkpoints, and model versions.
As AI workloads grow larger and more complex, customers increasingly demand tightly integrated high-performance compute, networking, and storage. For CRWV, the strategic opportunity lies in converting this rising demand for advanced AI infrastructure into higher utilization, revenue, and cash flow. Nevertheless, the company operates within a fiercely competitive AI cloud market dominated by incumbents such as Microsoft (MSFT) and Nebius Group N.V. (NBIS).
CoreWeave faces intensifying rivalry in the AI infrastructure space. NBIS has emerged as an ambitious competitor, planning to invest £1.7 billion in U.K.-based AI infrastructure and add three advanced NVIDIA-powered deployments to meet surging demand. NBIS recently formed a partnership with Palantir to deliver AI-native cloud infrastructure; under the agreement, Nebius will supply AI compute and inference resources to Palantir’s commercial clients. The company projects its connected power capacity will reach approximately 800 MW to 1 GW by the end of 2026. In March, NVIDIA invested $2 billion in NBIS to co-develop the next generation of hyperscale AI cloud infrastructure. Looking ahead, Nebius aims to deploy over 5 GW of AI computing capacity by 2030.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is capitalizing on AI business momentum and Copilot adoption while accelerating its Azure cloud infrastructure expansion. These AI investments are translating into measurable commercial traction across its technology stack. By offering multi-model flexibility alongside sustained access to OpenAI’s frontier models under an intellectual property arrangement extending to 2032, Microsoft enables customers to optimize costs and performance while maintaining its ecosystem as the core of their AI infrastructure. Microsoft’s receipt of NVIDIA’s first production Vera Rubin GPUs in August 2026 and the June 2026 completion of its inaugural Mount Pleasant data center demonstrate steady infrastructure progress. These milestones also underscore the massive capital commitments required to sustain market demand.
Regarding price performance, valuation, and estimates, CoreWeave shares have risen 24.4% year to date, outperforming the Internet Software industry, which has declined 0.6%. Trading at a price-to-book ratio of 7.94x, CRWV commands a premium above the Internet Software Services industry average of 4.89x. Over the past 60 days, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for CRWV’s current-year earnings has been revised downward. CRWV currently holds a Zacks Rank of #3 (Hold).
Beyond NVIDIA: The Second Wave of AI
The AI revolution has already generated substantial wealth, yet the most recognizable stocks may not continue to deliver the highest returns. AI’s second wave is shifting from infrastructure buildout to practical implementation, positioning select companies at the forefront of this transition. These firms are poised to assume roles analogous to Amazon and Google during the early internet era.
