ERCOT has classified Sangha Renewables' 110.4 MW Texas data center campus as Base Load under its Batch Zero interconnect
Sangha Renewables announced that ERCOT has classified its 110.4 MW Texas data center campus as Base Load in the Batch Zero interconnection process, marking a significant milestone in the project's advancement toward large-scale data center development. The classification remains conditional pending completion of ERCOT's ongoing audit and verification procedures, which the company expects to navigate expeditiously, consistent with other projects receiving Base Load designation through the same process.
The project currently benefits from approximately 19.9 MW of available power with rights to expand to 110.4 MW through an additional 90.5 MW power allocation expected in May 2028. The campus is being developed as a large-scale data center to serve AI, cloud, inference, and high-performance computing demand.
ERCOT's Batch Zero process represents the first large-scale review of qualifying large-load projects under the state's evolving interconnection framework. Inclusion in Batch Zero with Base Load classification reflects the project's advancement through ERCOT's initial qualification process and positions it among a select group of large-load projects currently proceeding through the framework.
This milestone builds on Sangha's 2025 announcement of Project Genesis, a 110.4 MW data center campus co-located with a utility-scale solar facility in Ector County, Texas. The project is designed to create additional value from renewable generation by supporting large-scale digital infrastructure and compute demand. Sangha expects to continue working closely with relevant counterparties and stakeholders as the project advances.
