HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd.의 자회사인 BUZZ High Performance Computing Inc.는 3억 5,000만 달러 규모의 계약에 따라 NVIDIA GB300 클러스터를 구축할 예정입니다.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 17, 2026 — HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd., through its wholly owned subsidiary BUZZ High Performance Computing Inc. (BUZZ HPC), has signed a five-year GPU cloud services agreement with an investment-grade enterprise customer. All monetary figures are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
The agreement carries a total contract value of approximately $350 million over its term, adding roughly $70 million in annualized revenue. This brings BUZZ HPC’s total annualized run-rate revenue to approximately $180 million, comprising about $35 million in currently active, realized ARR and an additional $145 million in contracted ARR expected to come online by the fourth quarter of 2026. As the cluster reaches full deployment, the contract is projected to generate strong long-term economics and meaningful recurring cash flow.
Under the agreement, BUZZ HPC will deliver a dedicated AI infrastructure cluster featuring 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs housed in NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 rack-scale systems. The architecture leverages NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking and VAST Data’s high-performance storage platform. Designed to NVIDIA’s reference standards, the system will support large-scale AI training, inference, and advanced enterprise workloads. Deployment is scheduled for calendar Q4 of this year at the Bell AI Fabric facility in Merritt, British Columbia.
The Merritt site operates on 100 percent renewable hydroelectric power and employs advanced closed-loop direct liquid cooling technology. This design eliminates ongoing water consumption for thermal management while maximizing energy efficiency, reinforcing BUZZ HPC’s commitment to sustainable, high-performance AI compute infrastructure.
The contract marks a significant milestone in the rapid expansion of BUZZ HPC’s AI cloud platform and underscores the company’s capacity to secure large-scale, long-term commitments from investment-grade clients. The five-year term provides sustained revenue visibility while advancing BUZZ HPC’s strategy of building a portfolio of high-performance accelerated computing infrastructure tailored to Canadian sovereign AI requirements, global enterprises, and leading international AI organizations.
Capital expenditures for the deployment—including the accelerated computing cluster, associated hardware, and service warranties—are estimated at approximately $185 million. The customer will provide an upfront deposit of roughly 10 percent of the total contract value, equating to about $35 million. Combined with HIVE’s previously announced financing initiatives and additional equipment financing, these funds will support deployment while optimizing the company’s capital structure.
Upon completion, HIVE will retain ownership of the NVIDIA AI infrastructure, establishing a long-lived strategic asset with continued cash flow potential. The five-year agreement is anticipated to deliver an attractive return on invested capital, with further upside derived from ongoing asset ownership. This valuation is supported by the extended useful life of NVIDIA accelerated computing hardware, driven by industry-leading throughput per watt and the lowest token cost in the sector. Once fully operational, HIVE’s HPC/AI daily revenue is expected to reach approximately $500,000.
By integrating purpose-built AI infrastructure, renewable energy, NVIDIA accelerated computing, high-performance networking, and enterprise cloud technologies, BUZZ HPC is developing a vertically integrated AI platform designed to meet growing global demand. The agreement highlights both the increasing market appetite for BUZZ HPC’s capabilities and the company’s ability to convert platform growth into long-term contracted revenue as it scales its position as a leading Canadian AI cloud provider serving domestic and international customers.
