ClusterPower opens its largest data center facility in Romania, expanding Eastern European AI infrastructure.

ClusterPower officially opened the largest data center in Romania, located in Mischii, Dolj County. The project, valued at approximately 40 million Euro, represents a significant investment in the country's digital infrastructure. The technology park spans 25,000 square meters and will serve as a one-stop-shop Artificial Intelligence infrastructure center built on world-leading Nvidia technology.

The campus provides the high-performance computing infrastructure necessary for developing state-of-the-art digital solutions with high added value. Economic operators throughout the South-Eastern Europe region will be able to access the infrastructure provided by ClusterPower, with the Romanian economy positioned as the first beneficiary of these capabilities.

According to Cosmin Georgescu, CEO of ClusterPower, "Our dream came true. Starting from today, Romania will benefit from a tool necessary for national digitalization and will thus be among the countries that can rely on a strong digital infrastructure capable of connecting to the current and future requirements of the global market. Moreover, the construction of the ClusterPower data center will mean, for the new generations of Romanian students interested in specializing in IT, the easing of access to the most powerful computer currently available in Romania, based on Nvidia DGX technology."

The data center delivers cloud-based infrastructure running on physically separate equipment with a leaf-spine communications architecture and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technology. The facility is equipped with next-generation Cisco UCS-X servers featuring Intel processors and very large memory capacity, enabling the operation of the most critical workloads.
