Venture funding flows to infrastructure startups including Volta (Nvidia-backed compute provider), Decade (resource optimization), RWX (renewable energy), and Zenity (AI ops).
Recent technology venture capital activity has brought significant funding to four companies expanding AI infrastructure and AI-powered services.
Volta emerged from stealth after securing a $10 billion AI lab partnership and launching a $5 billion AI infrastructure program, achieving a $2.4 billion valuation. Founded by Ricard Boada Rafart and Sofia Gumuzio, Volta develops, finances, builds, and operates AI data centers, or AI factories. The company is backed by NVIDIA, Andreessen Horowitz, Altimeter, Azora, and Michael Dell's family office. A partnership with Bitdisk Technologies will provide AI cloud computing services in Europe, while an Azora-backed infrastructure program will finance additional AI facilities. Volta plans to expand AI infrastructure across Europe and North America.
Decade raised $85 million in seed funding—Latin America's largest seed round—to build an AI-powered wealth platform targeting wealth creation. Led by Ribbit Capital with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Y Combinator, Circle Ventures, Goodwater Capital, and global technology founders and operators, the company was founded by Max Novendstern. Decade combines AI-driven financial intelligence, investment automation, and personalized wealth management to help individuals grow long-term assets. The funding will accelerate product development, AI innovation, and expansion across Latin America and global markets.
RWX raised $12 million in Series A funding to expand its cloud platform for AI-driven software engineering. Led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Quiet Capital and Mischief, the company was founded by Dan Manges and Tommy Graves. RWX provides a cloud-native CI/CD platform enabling AI coding agents and developers to validate, test, and deploy software through intelligent build automation, content-based caching, and isolated cloud sandboxes. The funding will support product development, engineering hiring, infrastructure expansion, and enterprise adoption as organizations deploy AI-assisted software development workflows.
Zenity raised $125 million in Series C funding led by Norwest, with participation from Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, LG Technology Ventures, and existing investors Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP, and Intel Capital. Founded by Ben Kliger and Michael Bargury, Zenity develops an AI security and governance platform purpose-built for AI agents and serves Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations, employing more than 230 people worldwide. The funding will accelerate global expansion, platform innovation, Zenity Labs research, and growth across Europe and Asia-Pacific while strengthening enterprise AI agent security.
