Singapore's DayOne intends to more than double its active data center capacity to 2.3GW over the next two years, as it prepares to go public.

The data center operator filed its IPO prospectus with the US Securities and Exchange Commission this week, announcing its intention to list on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol DODC.

DayOne's prospectus reveals it has 962MW of capacity in service as of September 20, up from 675MW in June. The company has 1.3GW of capacity currently under construction, compared to 1.1GW in June, with delivery expected by December 2028.

Revenue has surged as DayOne brought more data center capacity online. The company reported income of $512 million for the six months to the end of June 2026, up from $151 million for the same period in 2025. However, it recorded a net loss of $77 million over the last six months, compared to a $12 million loss in the prior year.

Formerly the international business unit of Chinese data center operator GDS, DayOne spun out as an independent company last year.

The company operates data centers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia (Johor), Indonesia (Batam), and Japan (Tokyo). DayOne recently broke ground on new sites in Thailand and Singapore. Last year, it made its first expansion beyond Asia, announcing a campus in Lahti, Finland, and is developing a 300MW facility in Spain.

Rumors of the IPO first surfaced in January. While the company has not announced its fundraising target, Reuters reported in February that it was aiming to raise $5 billion at a $20 billion valuation.
