Australian government green bank discusses funding renewables-powered data centers, backing sustainable DC growth in the region.

The Clean Energy Finance Corporation is in talks to fund data centres powered by renewable energy, positioning the government-owned green bank as a major supporter of Labor's strict sustainability requirements for the rollout of massive infrastructure projects.

The corporation's outgoing chief executive, Ian Learmonth, said that while no data centre deals have been finalised, several involving projects designed to stimulate renewable energy investment are under negotiation.
