Navitas Semiconductor has completed its acquisition of Claros, expanding its power semiconductor and power delivery portfolio with integrated voltage regulator technology for next-generation AI data centers.

Claros develops integrated voltage regulator (IVR) technology that addresses the final stage of power delivery to processors (xPUs) used in AI infrastructure. The company's IVR technology stack integrates power transistors, digital control, inductors, and capacitors into a single unit. Claros offers two primary product lines—the Packaged Integrated Voltage Regulator (pIVR) and Embedded Integrated Voltage Regulator (eIVR)—that move power conversion closer to the processor, enabling higher efficiency, faster transient response, and greater power density. The company also developed the modular PowerArray architecture, designed to scale power delivery as processor power requirements increase.

This acquisition extends Navitas' portfolio across the complete grid-to-xPU power architecture, combining Claros' IVR capabilities with Navitas' existing gallium nitride (GaN), high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC), and ultra-high-voltage SiC technologies. The combined approach addresses critical power efficiency and density bottlenecks expected to become increasingly significant as AI data centers deploy more powerful processors and megawatt-scale server racks. The technology complements Navitas' offerings supporting emerging 800V DC architectures for AI data centers.

The acquisition substantially expands Navitas' market opportunity. The company expects it to more than double its identified serviceable addressable market for 2030 to more than $8 billion. Claros will contribute at least $3.5 billion of opportunity from the Vertical Power Delivery and IVR markets, supplementing Navitas' existing approximately $3.5 billion serviceable addressable market for GaN and high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage SiC, along with approximately $1 billion associated with new JFET technology.

Navitas also expects the acquisition to deepen its engagement with hyperscalers and AI power platform providers. The company will provide additional details about the combined technology portfolio during a webinar titled "Breaking the AI Infrastructure Power Wall: From Grid-to-xPU" on October 20, 2026.

Chris Allexandre, President and CEO of Navitas Semiconductor, said: "Closing this acquisition is a defining step in the Navitas 2.0 transformation and our strategy to power AI infrastructure from grid-to-xPU. With power now the bottleneck for AI, increases in power delivery and efficiency are the key enablers of more compute output. The future of AI depends on delivering thousands of amps to increasingly power-hungry processors with unprecedented speed and precision, while redefining racks with higher power centralized systems and higher density architectures. This 'power wall' has restricted next-generation xPUs in megawatt-scale server racks from achieving the next wave of AI performance. Navitas 2.0 brings together GaN, high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage SiC, and now IVR technologies to break the power wall and address power conversion across the complete grid-to-xPU architecture. Additionally, this combination doubles our serviceable addressable market, deepens our engagement with hyperscalers and AI power platform providers, and strengthens our capabilities and leadership in power delivery for AI infrastructure. As AI power demand accelerates, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value for our customers, while driving sustainable long-term growth."
