importance 70MARA Holdings is continuing to position its planned Matagorda County development as a key part of its shift from bitcoin mining toward artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure.
The company said in its second-quarter 2026 earnings update that it had secured rights to the roughly 2-gigawatt Matagorda County site and is working with Starwood Digital Ventures to attract large-scale computing tenants.
