TeraWulf has executed an amended and restated electric service agreement with Kentucky Power for its Muskie Data Campus in Kentucky. The amended agreement increases contracted power capacity at the campus from 500MW to 1GW and accelerates planned delivery of Muskie's second 500MW phase from 2030 to 2029, subject to Kentucky Public Service Commission approval and Kentucky Power's construction schedule. The first 500MW phase remains targeted to begin ramping in 2028.

"Customer interest in Muskie has been tremendous, and power availability is central to those conversations," said Paul Prager, chairman and CEO of TeraWulf. "Securing the next 500MW and moving its planned delivery into 2029 gives us greater flexibility to meet prospective customers' deployment needs. It also builds on the progress our teams have made with Kentucky Power since we acquired the site."

TeraWulf will continue to evaluate the campus' potential to support up to 2GW over time, subject to additional utility planning, infrastructure, and agreements.

TeraWulf acquired the Muskie site in May 2026 from Industrial Equity Partners. Located within the 1,000-acre EastPark Industrial Park, the site totals approximately 285 acres and is zoned for data center use. Kentucky Power is developing a 765-kV / 345-kV substation connected to the regional transmission network to serve the site.

TeraWulf operates a 180-acre campus outside Buffalo, New York, at a former coal power plant. The company initially mined cryptocurrency at the site before pivoting towards AI and HPC uses. Core42 and Fluidstack are live customers there. The company is also developing sites in Maryland and planning a second development in Lansing, New York.

TeraWulf's other Kentucky campus, the 480MW Justified Data Campus in Hancock County, will be developed on a former aluminum processing site acquired from Century Aluminum. The first facility on the 790-acre site is due online in 2027. Century Aluminum operated the site from 1969 to 2022. Anthropic is set to lease capacity at the site.
