Anthropic의 개정 S-1 신고서는 클라우드 및 데이터센터 관련 약정 규모가 8,954억 달러(895.4bn)에 달한다고 공시했다. 매출은 증가하고 있으나, 성장 속도는 둔화되고 있다.
Anthropic has amended its Form S-1 filing with the SEC, adding details on the latest quarter's earnings.
Ahead of an imminent public listing, the company disclosed third-quarter revenue of $17 billion, up about 1,127 percent over last year. Revenue growth slowed on a quarter-to-quarter basis, however, to 47 percent, down from 144 percent in Q2 and 132 percent in Q1. Anthropic also reported a net loss of $23.29 billion in the third quarter.
The company also updated its financial commitments, which were previously listed at $417 billion for compute. It now says its purchase commitments and lease agreements have an aggregate committed spend of about $895.4 billion, "substantially all of which is related to compute and infrastructure."
Compute and infrastructure expenses rose to $14.4 billion for the nine months ended September 30, up 329 percent over last year.
Anthropic is expected to have more than 3.5 GW of compute this year, the New York Times reports, with a similar amount due in 2027.
According to the prospectus, Anthropic has committed $121.3 billion to lease compute from Google, $120.5 billion from SpaceX, $110 billion from Amazon, and $44.9 billion from Microsoft. The Google, Amazon, and Microsoft deals are mostly non-cancelable except in cases of uncured material breach, and must be paid regardless of actual usage. The SpaceX deal can be canceled with 90 days' notice starting next March.
In addition to the Google deal, Anthropic is set to procure more TPU compute, either through a Google Cloud agreement, a direct purchase from Google with five-year financing, or through a partner. That compute, expected between 2028 and 2031, could cost $125 billion to $150 billion and is not included in the $895 billion calculation.
Outside the hyperscalers, Anthropic has signed a $44.6 billion deal with neocloud Nscale running through 2033 and a $41.3 billion deal with Lambda running through 2034. Nscale is required to try to obtain qualifying financing for its Nvidia GPUs, while Lambda must secure its facility lease in a timely manner. Anthropic has also entered into a $50 billion deal with Fluidstack, as well as contracts with TeraWulf and Hut 8.
Anthropic did not mention its $11.6 billion cloud deal with Akamai or its compute agreement with CoreWeave.
The prospectus also reiterated the hardware supply agreement with AMD, under which the chip designer is on track to buy $5 billion in Anthropic shares. That purchase will occur in stages, tied to AMD GPU delivery and deployment milestones.
