Indian renewable firm Waaree Renewable Technologies has established Aurovault Data Centers Private Limited, a subsidiary to develop and operate data centers in India and internationally. The new company will be wholly owned by Waaree Green Data Centers, itself a subsidiary of Waaree Renewable Technologies.

Aurovault plans to establish, develop, design, finance, construct, own, lease, operate, and commercialize hyperscale, AI-ready, and edge data centers, as well as disaster recovery centers, cloud infrastructure, digital infrastructure parks, and colocation facilities both domestically and abroad. Services will include colocation, managed hosting, cloud connectivity, internet exchange, and network services.

The company has not yet commenced business operations and has recorded no turnover. This marks the second data center subsidiary Waaree has incorporated this month, following the establishment of Sunstar Data Centers Private Limited earlier in September.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Mumbai, Waaree Renewable Technologies operates as a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited and leads the Waaree Group's solar EPC business. The parent Waaree Group, established in 1990 and rebranded as a solar manufacturer in 2007, is now among India's largest solar manufacturers, with a combined manufacturing capacity of 13.3GW in India and 3.2GW in the USA.
