Cloud computing and data centre developer Crusoe has reportedly raised more than $3bn in a new funding round, bringing its valuation to approximately $30bn. This represents a substantial increase from October 2025, when the company was believed to be valued at over $10bn following the closure of a $1.375bn Series E round. That earlier financing was co-led by technology investors Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital, with participation from 137 Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Nvidia, Winklevoss Capital, and Founders Fund.

According to Bloomberg, the latest round was co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners. Mubadala Capital, the alternative asset manager owned by the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala, is also participating in the new investment.

Established in 2018 by founders Chase Lochmiller and Cully Cavness, Crusoe is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The company aims to accelerate the convergence of energy and artificial intelligence by delivering energy-first infrastructure solutions. Its operations focus on harnessing large-scale energy resources, constructing AI-optimised data centres, and providing an integrated AI cloud platform.

Beyond capital raises, Crusoe recently secured a major $13bn contract to supply quantitative trading firm Jane Street with GPUs and AI infrastructure over the next five years.

The past couple of years have been formative for the company as it extends its global footprint. In February of last year, Crusoe announced the establishment of a European base of operations in Dublin, Ireland. Over a three-year period, the site will create 100 jobs for professionals across networking, site reliability engineering, customer success, and support departments.
