HUMAIN has begun recruiting professionals to support its initial public offering preparation, signaling that the PIF-owned Saudi artificial intelligence company is building capabilities for a potential public market listing. The initiative provides a clearer indication of how HUMAIN is approaching its next stage of development, though it does not establish a listing date or confirm that an IPO is imminent. For Saudi Arabia’s technology sector, the process also offers an early look at how one of the country’s major AI companies is preparing for public market scrutiny.

In a LinkedIn post, HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin announced the search for a small number of professionals to join the IPO preparation team. The roles target candidates with experience at leading management consulting firms, alongside strong expertise in financial strategy, investor communications, and IPO execution. According to Amin, the team will focus on investor-focused strategy and IPO preparation. He highlighted the need for individuals capable of translating complex business and financial information into clear presentations and a compelling investment narrative. However, Amin did not provide a timeline for a potential listing.

HUMAIN was launched in May 2025 as part of the Public Investment Fund’s portfolio. The company focuses on developing and operating AI technologies while building out the surrounding infrastructure. Its activities include the development of AI models and applications, including an Arabic large language model, alongside data center and cloud computing infrastructure.

Amin previously stated that HUMAIN could pursue listings on both the Saudi Exchange, or Tadawul, and the New York Stock Exchange within three to four years. An eventual dual listing would place HUMAIN under the scrutiny of both Saudi and international investors, requiring the company to present a clear view of its business model, financial performance, and longer-term growth plans. It could also become a significant test of investor appetite for large-scale AI businesses emerging from the Gulf, particularly as Saudi Arabia continues to build domestic capabilities across AI models, computing infrastructure, and related technologies.

The immediate signal is the formation of the IPO preparation team rather than a confirmed transaction. Key developments to watch include the company’s progress toward formal listing preparations, any appointment of financial or legal advisers, and whether HUMAIN provides further details on its intended market or timing. For now, the recruitment effort indicates that preparation is underway, but does not establish when or whether an IPO will take place.
