Nvidia and LangChain have unveiled NemoClaw for LangChain Deep Agents, an open-source enterprise AI blueprint announced July 8 that combines Nvidia's Nemotron 3 Ultra model with LangChain's Deep Agents framework and Nvidia's OpenShell secure runtime. The system achieves benchmark-leading performance at over 10x lower inference costs than its nearest competitor.

The cost advantage is stark: Nemotron 3 Ultra paired with the Deep Agents harness scored 0.86 in evaluations at a cost of $4.48 per call, compared to $43.48 for the next closest option. At that price point, enterprises can deploy these agents across a much wider range of workflows rather than reserving them for only the highest-value tasks.

The blueprint integrates three core components. LangChain's Deep Agents framework handles the cognitive architecture—planning, memory management, and sub-agent orchestration. Nemotron 3 Ultra serves as the foundational model; being open-weight, it allows enterprises to inspect and customize it rather than rely on proprietary black boxes. OpenShell provides the runtime environment with secure sandboxing that enterprise IT departments require before deploying systems near production data. The architecture is designed to be customizable and tunable, giving enterprises control over their proprietary data, workflows, and memory.

Nvidia and LangChain have been building toward this partnership throughout 2026, with initial plans for a broader enterprise agentic AI platform announced earlier in the year, including the AI-Q blueprint and additional integrations around March.

Jensen Huang, Nvidia's CEO, assessed the milestone tersely: "Super agents have arrived." Harrison Chase, LangChain's CEO, took a more nuanced view, emphasizing the importance of building robust systems around models rather than simply scaling the models themselves.

EY, the global professional services giant, is among the enterprise partners engaged in production deployments. Baseten and Fireworks AI are handling inference serving. EY's involvement signals that major consulting firms are building practices around these systems for clients, and when the Big Four begin productizing a technology, enterprise adoption typically accelerates rapidly.
