Technology firms TeKnowledge and Equinix have announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating secure hybrid and multi-cloud adoption while supporting the development of AI-ready digital infrastructure across West Africa.

The collaboration responds to Nigeria's expanding digital economy, where cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital payment solutions and data-driven services are creating new opportunities for businesses and public institutions. Through the partnership, organisations across the region will gain access to secure, high-performance digital environments combining local infrastructure with global technology expertise.

The alliance pairs Equinix's data centre infrastructure and secure interconnection capabilities with TeKnowledge's expertise in designing, deploying and managing solutions in artificial intelligence, data management, customer experience and cybersecurity. The companies said the partnership would help enterprises and government institutions overcome digital transformation challenges by providing reliable platforms that support innovation while meeting data residency and sovereignty requirements.
