PowerCompute expanded AI compute capacity through new Antminer ASIC deployments, improving efficiency to extract more Bitcoin from the same electricity input.

PowerCompute announced on September 23, 2026, progress in its fleet efficiency upgrade program centered on replacing older Bitcoin mining rigs with Bitmain Antminer S19 XP units at its Oklahoma and Mississippi facilities. The company plans to install 1,000 new miners in Oklahoma by the end of September and redeploy existing units to Mississippi, expecting total hashrate to rise to approximately 822 petahash per second, a 6.6% increase from June 30, 2026 levels.

As part of the same initiative, PowerCompute placed an order on September 22 for 940 additional Antminer S19 XP units to be installed in Mississippi during October 2026. This second phase is projected to lift total hashrate to roughly 862 petahash per second, an 11.8% increase from June levels.

According to management, each replacement machine delivers nearly 39% more hashrate while maintaining similar power consumption. The improvement is expected to support incremental revenue capacity of approximately $1.2 million annually on the company's existing power infrastructure. The company is funding the deployment through approximately $400,000 from cash and Bitcoin holdings and noted available energized capacity in Mississippi to support future Bitcoin or AI-related expansion.
