Buildots announced its funding round on September 15, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Mohari Ventures, Human Capital, Qumra Capital, and others. The company serves as the operational backbone for construction projects globally, from local schools to the world's most complex data centers.

The global construction industry represents a 16 trillion dollar market positioned at the critical path of major economic shifts: the AI data center buildout, manufacturing re-industrialization, the defense boom and energy infrastructure scaling. Buildots provides what CEO Roy Danon describes as a control tower for large-scale construction programs, giving builders a verified picture of on-site conditions so they can operate on objective data rather than instinct.

The company's customer base includes over 100 of the world's largest firms. Major owners and hyperscalers such as Intel and Digital Realty use the platform alongside construction titans STO Building Group, JE Dunn, Mortenson, Bouygues and HOCHTIEF. The platform delivers a single source of truth for construction projects, providing visibility and predictability that enable faster action and improved outcomes.

Construction's complexity is accelerating as timelines compress and stakes rise on mission-critical infrastructure. Seven-figure portfolio-wide multi-year agreements with Buildots are now standard rather than exceptional. Danon stated that Buildots would soon become inconceivable to omit from construction portfolio management, with the AI buildout accelerating an existing trend. The platform operates across residential, commercial and mission-critical projects of all sizes.

Buildots' technology creates a feedback loop between physical and digital construction through proprietary AI trained on eight years of real construction site data rather than internet-scraped or general-purpose models. Computer vision models convert video footage into digital twins, interpreting construction schedules, 3D models and site imagery to classify hundreds of work types. This replaces fragmented reports and subjective assessments with a continuously updated, accurate view of project status and trajectory.

The funding enables Buildots to scale across three dimensions: wider geographic expansion into major North American and EMEA portfolios, deeper integration across the full construction lifecycle from bidding through handover, and higher-level business intelligence enabling portfolio-wide operational management.
