Host Digital Inc. (NYSE American: HOST) launched a $15 million share buyback program, arguing its AI data center assets are undervalued.

A small-cap buyback framed around AI data center asset value suggests listed operators may believe their capacity trades below intrinsic value, which could push them toward capital returns and consolidation over new builds.

Host Digital Inc. (NYSE American: HOST), a developer, owner, and operator of digital infrastructure built for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing in the U.S., has announced that its Board of Directors unanimously approved a share repurchase program of up to $15 million of its outstanding common stock. The program will be effective for one year. The Board said the current market valuation does not reflect the true worth of Host Digital's contracted AI data center platform. The announcement coincides with the company's plan to deliver its first facility, Site I in northeast Oklahoma, by the first quarter of 2027.

**Board Points to $1.25 Billion Contracted Site I Lease as Basis for Buyback**

The Board authorized the repurchase program because it believes the market undervalues the company's contracted assets. Site I is an energized facility in northeast Oklahoma that delivers 55 megawatts of gross power and 43 megawatts of critical IT load. It operates under a 15-year take-or-pay lease representing roughly $1.25 billion in base-term contracted revenue, with rent escalating 3% annually. The lease is expected to be backed by a U.S.-based, investment-grade global technology firm, though Host Digital has not disclosed the counterparty's identity.

**Site I Delivery Set for Q1 2027 as Host Digital Prioritizes Project Financing**

Chief Executive Officer Harmol Samra, who previously worked with PGIM, Starwood, and ICONIQ, where he helped develop a 2.2-gigawatt data center platform across 82 sites, said the signed lease and available power at Site I remain firm despite market fluctuations. The company's priorities are financing, developing, and delivering its contracted projects, and any share repurchases will be evaluated alongside these capital commitments. Repurchases may be made through open market transactions, Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, privately negotiated transactions, or structured arrangements through investment banks.

**Host Digital Pursues Second Energized Northeast Oklahoma Site**

In addition to Site I, Host Digital confirmed that it is working to acquire a second energized and leased site in northeast Oklahoma from its sponsor, as previously announced. The company's broader strategy targets RightScaled sites of 20 to 100 megawatts with existing or near-term power access, leased under long-term agreements to creditworthy counterparties. Host Digital aims to own and control the real estate, power, and data center infrastructure at each location, offering turnkey facilities in which tenants install their own compute infrastructure.

The company is under no obligation to repurchase a specific number of shares and may modify or suspend the program at any time.
