Reports indicate that some power users are migrating from Claude to SpaceXAI’s $300 SuperGrok Heavy tier. Users cite performance slowdowns in models such as Fable 5 and Sonnet 5, coinciding with the conclusion of Anthropic’s usage boost on August 19. In contrast, they praise Grok 4.6 for its balance of intelligence and lower per-task costs on agentic workloads. The addition of Grok Bot provides always-on agents capable of handling overnight research and application management. While some professionals continue to rely on Claude for coding tasks, a growing number of cancellations signals a broader shift among heavy users.
xAI and Grok co-founder Jimmy Ba notes that 90% of xAI engineers are currently utilizing AI agent loops, a practice that enables them to ship code five times faster. He revealed that every xAI engineer runs between 10 and 20 GrokBot agents to automate their daily routines. During a 26-minute presentation, Ba outlined the complete workflow adopted across the engineering team: “At xAI, 90% of our engineers are using AI agent loops, which helps them ship 5x faster. Now every xAI engineer is running 10-20 GrokBot agents to automate their routine.”

Bots accumulate memory, own specific domains, and continuously improve within those domains precisely because users consistently return to the same conversation threads.
Grok Bot features a dedicated plugin panel for third-party integrations. Once connected, any integration becomes available to all bots. Supported platforms include Notion, Slack, Google Drive, AWS Agents, AWS SageMaker, Browserbase, Composio, and Context7, alongside an option to develop custom plugins.
Users can train a bot on a new workflow simply by executing it once while the bot observes. The system records the sequence and subsequently executes the identical steps autonomously. The recommended approach is to automate processes that are tedious to describe but trivial to demonstrate. Ideal candidates are tasks performed at least weekly, require two or more tools, and follow a consistent set of steps. Examples include scheduling and email management, such as generating a 7 a.m. daily briefing, compiling a Friday pipeline summary, or processing month-end expense filings.
