importance 93SK Hynix reported record quarterly revenue and profit in the second quarter, driven by surging AI infrastructure investment and strong demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM), AI server DRAM, and enterprise SSDs. The company also expanded long-term supply agreements with major customers.
Revenue for the three months ending June 30 surged 257 percent year-on-year to KRW 79.3 trillion. Operating profit climbed 557 percent year-on-year to KRW 60.5 trillion, delivering an operating margin of 76 percent, compared with 41 percent in the same period a year earlier.
