IREN Limited는 ERCOT의 Batch Zero 프로세스에서 2GW Sweetwater Hub에 대한 조건부 베이스로드 분류를 확보했습니다.
On September 8, 2026, IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) announced that its 2GW Sweetwater Hub, consisting of Sweetwater 1 and Sweetwater 2, has been conditionally included in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas ERCOT Batch Zero process as Base Load. Sweetwater 1 comprises 1,400MW and Sweetwater 2 comprises 600MW, together representing a portion of IREN’s announced more than 5GW global data center development portfolio. At Sweetwater 1, the company’s high-voltage substation was energized earlier this year, and construction of 300MW gross of data center capacity continues with delivery targeted for Q4 2027. Additional large-scale projects within IREN’s broader development pipeline were also included in Batch Zero, and the company plans to formally integrate them into its announced portfolio upon execution of the relevant grid connection agreements. ERCOT’s classifications remain conditional and subject to ongoing approval processes. IREN will continue coordinating with transmission and distribution service providers, grid operators, regulators, and local communities as it develops future capacity. IREN operates as a vertically integrated AI Cloud platform providing data centers, compute, and software for AI training and inference, backed by extensive land and grid-connected power assets in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe, and APAC. The press release notes that it contains forward-looking statements subject to risks and uncertainties, including regulatory approvals and operational execution, which could cause actual results to differ materially from those projected.
