Skanska has secured a USD 238 million contract to build a second 22,000-square-meter data center on an existing Virginia

Skanska has signed an additional contract with an existing client to build a data center in Virginia, USA. The contract is valued at USD 238 million, approximately SEK 2.2 billion, and will be recorded in the company's US order bookings for the third quarter of 2026.

The project encompasses the construction of a 22,000-square-meter data center, equivalent to 237,000 square feet. The facility will include five data halls along with associated site work and underground site utilities. This will be the second building constructed on the campus.

Construction is scheduled to commence in August 2026 and is expected to be completed by May 2028.
