CoreWeave announced on October 6 that it will lease 240MW of data center capacity in Navi Mumbai from AdaniConneX, marking the neocloud's entry into the Indian market. The deployment will span three 80MW buildings at Adani's Taloja campus, where CoreWeave plans to install Nvidia Vera Rubin systems and establish a local office with regional hiring.

"India has the talent, developers, and ambition to become a major center of AI innovation," said Sachin Jain, Chief Operating Officer of CoreWeave. "We are investing in the infrastructure, technology, and local presence needed to support that growth, bringing 240MW of capacity, Nvidia Vera Rubin, and CoreWeave's expertise to customers building and scaling AI in India."

AdaniConneX's Taloja campus has been designed with high-density AI infrastructure in mind, featuring direct liquid cooling and a non-evaporative chilled water system. The first phase is expected to become available in mid-2028, with additional capacity rolling out in subsequent phases. CoreWeave will be the sole tenant across the three buildings and holds an option to double its capacity at the campus to 580MW total.

As of August 2026, CoreWeave had 4.2GW of contracted power globally and is expanding across the US, Europe, and Asia. The company recently announced its entry into Indonesia and began offering Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 systems through its cloud platform.

AdaniConneX is a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX, first announced in February 2021, that has previously targeted delivering 1GW of hyperscale data center capacity across India. The JV currently operates projects in Chennai, Noida, Vizag, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai. Adani announced earlier this year that it was targeting 5GW of total data center capacity in India.
