Liquid-cooled datacenter provider Colovore files to develop a second facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Data center developer Colovore has filed an application with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to develop Colovore Alliance, a single-story data center facility in Fort Worth. Located on vacant land at 14700 Heritage Parkway in Denton County, the facility will total 156,500 sq ft (14,540 sqm). The $430 million project is scheduled to run from December 2026 to December 2028, with the landowner listed as AIL Investment LP, a likely affiliate of Hillwood Properties.

The Fort Worth facility represents one of two planned locations in the Dallas area. Colovore's website details plans for the 44.8MW DFW01 in Mesquite and the 32MW DFW02 in Fort Worth.

Colovore launched in 2013 and established an early market niche with liquid-cooled racks capable of up to 35kW, considered high density at the time. The company opened its original single-story, 24,000 sq ft (2,230 sqm) facility in Santa Clara in 2014, with a second location opening nearby in 2024. In 2024, investment firm King Street acquired Colovore and subsequently announced expansion plans into Nevada and Illinois.

Beyond the Dallas area, Colovore is also planning to develop a data center in the Hutto area of Austin, Texas, with further projects reportedly planned around Virginia, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Georgia, California, and Washington.
