AM Intelligence (AMI), the AI infrastructure company promoted by the founders of Greenko, has placed binding orders for approximately 20,000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs to expand its AI factory footprint across India and Malaysia. These new orders bring AMI's total committed capacity to around 29,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs and nearly 100 MW of capacity, making it one of the early large committed buyers of NVIDIA's latest-generation Rubin GPUs outside North America.

The new shipments will add approximately 70 MW of capacity deployed across India and Malaysia, with deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2027. The GPUs will be deployed as NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale systems, building on an initial commitment of 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs announced in August 2026 for AMI's first AI factory in Hyderabad.

AMI's expansion plans are ambitious: the company plans to bring another 300 MW of AI compute capacity to market over the next 15 months, requiring capital expenditure of more than $20 billion, in addition to the $6 billion already committed for the initial 100 MW.

"Both facilities will be built to the same architecture standard as the Hyderabad AI Factory, integrating the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform with high-throughput RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) networking for fast, efficient data movement, alongside advanced storage systems," said Anil Chalamalasetty, Chairman of AM Intelligence. The infrastructure incorporates liquid cooling, high rack-power density systems and high-speed networking.

Globally, AMI holds a pipeline of approximately 400 MW of Compute-as-a-Service capacity across India, the US, Europe and Malaysia, with the three GPU orders placed so far representing the first committed tranche. Remaining capacity is expected to be delivered in phases through 2027 and early 2028. The company has set a longer-term target of 1 GW of Compute-as-a-Service capacity for global AI workloads and a broader goal to develop 5 GW of powered AI data centers across India, the US and Europe.

AMI is positioning the infrastructure for hyperscalers, AI labs, enterprises, sovereign AI programs and AI developers, targeting both AI training and inference workloads. The company is backed by Greenko's renewable power generation and storage assets.

"By combining accelerated computing with high-performance networking and liquid-cooled infrastructure, AMI is creating the foundation for developers and enterprises to build more ambitious AI," said Vishal Dhupar, managing director for Asia South at NVIDIA.
