importance 95Nvidia is in talks to provide a financial backstop of roughly US$250 billion that would help OpenAI lease and finance a massive AI data center campus in southern Ohio, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter. The planned facility, known as the PORTS Technology Campus in Piketon, Ohio, is designed to support 10 gigawatts of power capacity, with groundbreaking having taken place in March 2026.
