Dell delivers first batch of Nvidia Vera Rubin systems to CoreWeave data centers
Dell Technologies delivered the first batch of PowerRack AI infrastructure systems based on NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform to CoreWeave on June 1, 2026, marking a significant shift in the industry toward integrated rack-scale deployment.
The delivery utilized PowerEdge XE9812 servers based on the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 architecture, making Dell the first vendor to deploy this specific technology.
According to Dell, these fully integrated systems can transition from delivery to live production in less than 6.5 hours while minimizing operational costs for large-scale agentic AI inference.
The systems reportedly achieved up to tenfold reduction in per-token costs compared to Grace Blackwell NVL72 configurations under heavy enterprise workloads.
Growing market demand for rack-scale AI infrastructure significantly boosted the hardware giant's financial performance during its most recent fiscal period.
According to Yahoo Finance, Dell's fiscal 2027 first quarter financial results announced on May 28 showed total revenue surged 88% year-over-year, reaching a record high of $43 billion.
Additionally, revenue from AI-optimized servers surged 757% in the same period, reaching $16.1 billion.
