Corvex, an engineering-driven AI computing platform focused on GPU-accelerated infrastructure (Nasdaq: MOVE), announced today the appointment of Christopher Chance Moreland as Chief Financial Officer, effective June 29, 2026.

Moreland joins from Morgan Stanley, where he served as Managing Director in Leveraged Finance and M&A Finance. During his tenure of more than 12 years at the firm, Moreland led the structuring and execution of complex financings across loan and bond markets, advising on over 150 transactions with multi-billion dollar financing sizes across multiple industries including GPU-as-a-Service, data centers, power and energy, and asset leasing.

Moreland's appointment comes at a critical moment as Corvex scales its AI infrastructure platform following its recent public listing. The company's business model combines committed demand, flexible power procurement, proprietary software to optimize workload performance and security, and disciplined capital formation strategy, requiring sophisticated and repeatable financing capabilities across both enterprise-level and project-level structures. Moreland brings highly relevant expertise and a proven track record in underwriting and syndicating large, complex transactions in capital-intensive industries.

"Corvex sits at the intersection of AI computing, power infrastructure, and capital markets, and Chance has extensive execution experience across all these domains," said Jay Crystal, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Corvex. "He is one of the most active and trusted practitioners in the leveraged finance space, with a proven ability to structure and arrange large-scale financings in dynamic markets. As we scale our GPU-as-a-Service infrastructure and AI data center capacity, and continue to invest in our proprietary software stack to enhance performance, security, and infrastructure economics, his experience is critical to building a durable programmatic capital formation engine."

During his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Moreland was responsible for structuring capital commitments across a range of transaction types and clients and managing the underwriting process. His experience provides deep insights into market dynamics, investor demand, and execution risks—capabilities that are critical to Corvex as it scales deployments aligned with customer demand.

"The next phase of AI infrastructure will be defined by platforms capable of reliably accessing and deploying capital at scale," said Moreland. "Corvex has established a differentiated model that coordinates computing demand, power availability, and capital efficiency. The opportunity to help institutionalize and scale that model, spanning corporate financing and project-level structures, is tremendously compelling. I'm excited to join a team taking a disciplined, execution-oriented approach to building AI infrastructure, differentiating through performance-enhancing software-driven approaches, enabling secure computing through confidential computing, and ultimately enhancing the return on deployed capital."

Moreland's appointment underscores Corvex's commitment to building institutional-grade financial capabilities to support rapid, capital-efficient growth. As AI workloads become increasingly infrastructure-intensive, Corvex is positioned to become a trusted platform supporting capital deployment into GPU-accelerated computing environments, leveraging long-term contracts, flexible power strategies, and a software-centric approach to enhance the output and efficiency of its soon-to-be-launched Token Factory environment.

Moreland holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (Dean's Honor), a Master's degree in Aerospace from Stanford University, and dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Physical Engineering from Washington and Lee University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®).
