Connectbase and InterGlobix have announced that Clint Heiden, Chief Commercial Officer of EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure, will be a featured speaker at TCW LIVE!, a conference bringing together leaders from the connectivity, cloud, and digital infrastructure sectors. Heiden will participate in a panel discussion titled "The New Digital Infrastructure Arms Race for AI Compute: Data Center Providers, Hyperscalers, and Neocloud Providers" taking place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The panel will include Dr. Sanjay Basu, Senior Director of GPU and Gen AI Solutions and Services at Oracle's Cloud Engineering division, and Vinay Nagpal, CEO of IG Group, who will also moderate the discussion. Heiden brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the data center and telecommunications sectors, having held senior executive positions at QTS Data Centers, EdgeConneX, Sidera Networks, PAETEC, Cable and Wireless America, and UUNET. He is also the founder of the Internet Ecosystem Innovation Committee, which is chaired by Dr. Vint Cerf, Google's Chief Internet Evangelist. In his role at EdgeCore, Heiden oversees the company's go-to-market strategy for large-scale, high-density infrastructure solutions targeting hyperscale and cloud customers.
Heiden stated, "The AI revolution is fundamentally changing how digital infrastructure is planned, deployed, and scaled. Today's infrastructure decisions are increasingly driven by access to power, connectivity, speed-to-market, and the ability to support high-density AI workloads at scale. As demand continues to accelerate, collaboration across the digital infrastructure ecosystem will be critical to ensuring organizations can meet both current and future compute requirements. I look forward to sharing perspectives on how the industry is adapting to this new era of infrastructure growth."
The panel will examine how unprecedented demand for GPU clusters, low-latency networking, and purpose-built AI infrastructure is driving historic levels of investment across the digital infrastructure landscape. Discussion topics will include power procurement, site selection, cooling innovation, connectivity requirements, hyperscaler expansion strategies, the emergence of neocloud providers, and the evolving partnerships necessary to support next-generation AI workloads.
Jasmine Bedi, CEO and Co-Founder of InterGlobix, noted that Heiden's experience across both data center and telecommunications sectors makes him an invaluable addition to the panel, particularly as AI reshapes infrastructure priorities globally. Ben Edmond, CEO and Founder of Connectbase, emphasized that the panel will address real-world challenges and opportunities emerging from rapid AI growth, with Heiden's decades of experience in scaling infrastructure businesses contributing significantly to discussions relevant to infrastructure operators, technology providers, enterprises, and investors.
