Everllence secures contract to supply 480MW off-grid power for an AI data center facility in the United States.
Everllence has signed an agreement with a U.S. data center operator to deliver 24 × 18V51/60G gas engines with a combined output of 480 MW. The engines will power a hyperscale data center operating entirely off-grid, running on natural gas while meeting strict emission standards through SCR and oxidation catalysts. The modular configuration of 24 individual units provides operational flexibility and enables rapid capacity expansion as project energy demand grows.
In the United States, data center operators typically face multi-year waits for grid connections. Everllence's engines allow the customer to immediately establish an independent power system on-site, separate from the grid. The engines' dynamic capabilities enable integration with other generation technologies to deliver baseload power while supporting the highly sensitive loads required by modern data centers.
Medium-speed gas engines offer several advantages for this application. Their modular design allows individual units to be ramped up or shut down within minutes, maximizing efficiency and minimizing emissions based on demand. Modern AI-driven data centers require significantly higher energy consumption than traditional facilities, and operators depend on high power quality and uninterrupted reliability—requirements these engines are designed to meet.

Everllence's solutions incorporate digital services such as PrimeServ Assist and CEON TechBot, leveraging data analytics and AI to improve availability, reduce unplanned downtime, and support operational decision-making. These systems have demonstrated reliability in critical applications for decades.
The 51/60 engine family represents proven technology with 8 GW of installed capacity worldwide. The gas version, 51/60G, is hydrogen-ready and can operate with up to 25 percent hydrogen. It achieves start-up in less than five minutes and delivers efficiency up to 50 percent in single-cycle operation, combining flexibility with low fuel consumption even at partial load.

Engine delivery will occur in two phases, with initial delivery scheduled for mid-2026 and commissioning aligned with the data center's expansion timeline.
