Infrastructure operator Bitdeer is deploying NVIDIA's GB200 GPU cluster in its production compute infrastructure.
Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ:BTDR) extended its winning streak to a third consecutive day on Wednesday, jumping 15.58 percent to finish at $14.76 apiece, as investors responded positively to the company's launch of its NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 deployment in Malaysia. The deployment supports the most demanding AI workloads and represents a pivotal step in Bitdeer's broader strategy to expand its global AI infrastructure footprint, leveraging its robust power capacity and land resources to build next-generation systems for the AI-driven era.
The company is underway with significant expansion of its AI data center footprint across multiple geographies. Bitdeer is constructing a 13 MW accelerated computing data center in Washington, a 37 MW accelerated computing data center in Tennessee, a 570 MW accelerated computing data center in Clarington, and a 175 MW facility in Tydal, Norway. The Washington and Tennessee facilities, originally operated for cryptocurrency mining, are undergoing a full conversion to GPU-optimized AI data centers.
