Quantum Computing Inc., trading on Nasdaq under ticker QUBT, released its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company is a vertically integrated quantum company focused on photonics and semiconductor manufacturing.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Yuping Huang emphasized the company's ongoing strategy to make quantum products smaller, more practical and more accessible. He highlighted that the company's room-temperature photonic architecture provides a differentiation advantage by enabling practical quantum systems with significantly lower complexity, cost and power requirements compared to competing technologies.

During the second quarter, Quantum Computing Inc. completed its third acquisition of the year when it acquired NHanced Semiconductors, Inc. This acquisition supported the ahead-of-schedule launch of Fab 2, which significantly expands the company's advanced packaging and semiconductor manufacturing capabilities and accelerates its transition toward scalable, cost-effective production of miniaturized nanophotonic quantum technologies.

The company brought NeuraWave, its next-generation photonic reservoir computing platform, to commercial readiness during the quarter. Following this milestone, QCi entered into a framework agreement with Planck Dynamics to deploy NeuraWave systems for next-generation artificial intelligence applications, providing validation of the company's photonic computing technology.

In terms of commercial deployments, Quantum Computing Inc. successfully delivered and installed its Dirac-3 quantum optimization machine at a leading global consulting firm, which will use the system with its enterprise customers on complex optimization applications including portfolio optimization. This deployment represents an important commercial milestone and demonstrates growing market demand for practical quantum optimization solutions.

Additionally, the company received a purchase order from a world-leading university for its quantum secure communications system, representing continued commercial traction for its quantum communications portfolio and recognition of its technology by a premier research institution.

Management noted that supported by a strong balance sheet, the company remains well positioned to integrate its recent acquisitions, expand its commercial and government customer base, and invest in technologies and manufacturing capabilities supporting both its commercial businesses and its long-term quantum roadmap.
