Gorilla Technology and Supermicro completed a $2B AI infrastructure supply agreement for India expansion.
Gorilla Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ:GRRR) has closed an artificial intelligence infrastructure supply arrangement valued at approximately $2 billion in India with Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ:SMCI). The deal covers delivery of 20,736 B300 cards, 5,120 B200 cards, networking equipment and related infrastructure to support Gorilla's Yotta AI project. The San Jose- and London-headquartered company said the arrangement underpins deployments tied to large-scale AI data center and GPU programs in India, including hyperscale and sovereign AI initiatives.
Beyond the closed deal, Gorilla and Supermicro have entered a strategic framework to jointly pursue multi-billion-dollar AI infrastructure opportunities across India and the wider Asia Pacific region, targeting hyperscale data center buildouts, GPU-as-a-Service platforms, sovereign AI programs and enterprise AI projects. Supermicro will supply its server and rack-scale platforms while Gorilla provides infrastructure solutions, managed services and commercial and financing models. Charles Liang, CEO of Supermicro, said the company is "excited to collaborate with Gorilla and support its project with Yotta to accelerate the deployment and expansion of the AI infrastructure in India and Asia Pacific."
Jay Chandan, Chairman and CEO of Gorilla, noted the company is already supporting roughly $2 billion of GPU and networking procurement across its two current Yotta deployments in India, and pointed to demand across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Japan and Taiwan as the basis for a broader regional pipeline. Sunil Gupta, CEO of Yotta Data Services, the project's operator, said the collaboration is essential to delivering hyperscale AI compute across Indian enterprises and public sector organizations.
The arrangement scales Gorilla well beyond its historical base in security, network and video intelligence software, tying its growth to capital-intensive AI data center construction in Asia. Gorilla provides security intelligence, network intelligence, business intelligence, IoT and data center solutions across government, manufacturing, telecom, retail, transportation, healthcare and education, using AI and deep learning technologies including intelligent video surveillance, facial and license plate recognition and edge computing. Shares of Gorilla were up nearly 3% at $21.75 on Tuesday morning.
