Global data-center capacity is expected to roughly double from about 103 gigawatts today to around 200 gigawatts by 2030, requiring as much as 3 trillion dollars in new infrastructure spending according to JLL projections, with McKinsey suggesting total worldwide outlays could approach 7 trillion dollars by decade's end. The hyperscale data-center market alone is expected to grow from roughly 31.4 billion dollars in 2026 to more than 52.5 billion dollars by 2030, while the broader global AI-infrastructure market is forecast to climb from about 75.9 billion dollars to roughly 223.5 billion dollars over the same period.

CleanCore Solutions announced it has entered into a 10-year Colocation Services Agreement with Cerebras Systems for a data center campus in Minnesota. The AI data center campus, designed to Tier 3 standards, will represent 100 percent pre-leased occupancy and is expected to generate approximately 800 million dollars of contract value over the initial 10-year term, with potential to exceed 3 billion dollars including renewal terms. The campus will deliver approximately 55 megawatts of utility power capacity and 40 megawatts of critical IT load upon full buildout, with approximately 20 megawatts of utility power already energized. CleanCore expects to own nearly 80 percent of the project, which is expected to start generating revenue in the first quarter of 2027.

TeraWulf announced a 20-year lease agreement with Anthropic at its Justified Data campus in Hawesville, Kentucky, expected to generate approximately 19 billion dollars of contracted revenue over the initial lease term. The company separately entered into a definitive agreement to sell its 50.1 percent ownership interest in the Abernathy Joint Venture to an investor group led by Fluidstack, monetizing approximately 450 million dollars in invested capital.

Hut 8 announced the commercialization of the second phase of its one-gigawatt Beacon Point data center campus in Nueces County, Texas through a second 15-year lease generating 9.8 billion dollars for 352 megawatts of IT capacity. The tenant has doubled its contracted IT capacity at the campus to 704 megawatts, fully commercializing the Beacon Point campus against its 1,000 megawatts of utility capacity.
